Colin Little

Altrincham 3-3 Halifax

Altrincham had to come from behind on three separate occasions to earn a valuable point in their fight to stave off relegation against Halifax Town on Tuesday evening.

Jon Shaw put the visitors ahead when his well placed shot found the bottom corner of the net.

Colin Little then hit the post with a fierce 25-yard drive, before he drew the sides level with a well placed header.

Andy Campbell then put the away side back into the lead after he was brought down in the area by Joe O'Neill.

The match took another turn when Little scored a penalty of his own after Greg Young had been fouled in the area by Jake Wright.

Another penalty fell the way of Halifax and Shaw restored their lead, before O'Neill made up for his earlier mistake by scoring from close range.
