Colin Little
Two first-half strikes from Colin Little handed Altrincham a valuable victory over fellow relegation strugglers Stafford Rangers at Moss Lane on Easter Monday.
The home side got off to the perfect start when they took the lead in the 13th minute.
Little was the man who grabbed that goal when he pounced on some indecisive defending to tap home from close range.
And Little netted his second of the game shortly before half-time when he latched onto a Joe O'Neill pass to fire home from 6 yards out.
The visitors came out in the second-half with a higher tempo and began to threaten the opposition goal, but the home side were resolute in defence and managed to hold out for the victory.
The three-points will go a long way in boosting the Robins as they look to stave off relegation, while Rangers look doomed going into the run-in.
