Altrincham chairman Geoff Goodwin finds no pleasure in beating relegation from the Blue Sqaure Premier at another team's expense - again.
The Moss Lane side have been relegated twice before, only to receive a reprieve on both occasions thanks to other clubs going into administration.
But Alty chairman Geoff Goodwin insists that he would rather have gone down to the Blue Square North than be saved by the liquidation of Halifax Town.
"I take no pleasure from this situation, and it doesn't do us any favours," Goodwin told the Herald Express.
"We could have done with a spell in the Blue Square North to get our breath back.
"I'm twice as unhappy for Halifax fans. They must be gutted, and it makes me feel sick that they have gone out of business."
Altrincham were previously saved by the demises of Scarborough and Boston.
