Robins clinch Elam services
Blue Square Premier club Altrincham have announced the signing of veteran midfielder Lee Elam on a part-time basis following his release by Exeter City.
The 31-year-old winger joined rivals York City for pre-season training but turned down a full-time deal in favour of a part-time contract with Altrincham.
Elam has been looking to develop his skills as a football coach and the agreement with Altrincham will allow him to focus on his coaching.
Bradford-born Elam started his career with Southport in 1998 and has gone on to play for the likes of Morecambe, Halifax, Yeovil, Morecambe and Weymouth.
