Moss Lane
Stevenage Borough clawed their way back from a first-half deficit to edge out Altrincham in a closely-contested affair at Moss Lane on Saturday.
The visitors had the first real chance of the game in the eighth minute when Michael Bostwick's shot from 20 yards out was saved by Altrincham goalkeeper Stuart Coburn.
However, Mark Roberts did his side no favours when he fouled Altrincham's Colin Little in the penalty area and the experienced striker went on to slot home the resulting spot kick.
The Robins maintained their slender advantage heading into the half-time break, but were unable to keep Boro at bay in the second period.
Stevenage finally drew level in the 72nd minute when Andrew Drury headed home from inside the six-yard box and Roberts completed the comeback in injury time with a shot from the edge of the penalty box, which flew into the top-right corner of goal.
Altrincham bookings: McGregor 58.
Stevenage bookings: Boylan 39, Drury 62, Albrighton 67.
