Oxford United v Altrincham

Oxford United will be looking to maintain their six point lead at the top of the Blue Square Premier standings when they host Altrincham on Saturday.

Boss Chris Wilder is refusing to underestimate his opponents ahead of the tie as his charges aim to keep their unbeaten home record in tact.

He told the club's official website: "We have started well and are in a great position but that means we are there to be shot at by every club in the division.

"There are still a bunch of clubs in or around the play-offs who will fancy their chances of getting in. As we saw last year you can make up ground in this league very quickly. We did that ourselves and only missed the play-offs by a whisker in the end, so that just shows what can be done.

"Altrincham will come on Saturday and I am sure want to be the first club to win at Oxford, and make people even more aware of the threat they pose. I have the ultimate respect for what Graham Heathcote has built there. They are a very good side and I know all about the quality they possess. I have worked with six or seven of their players at Halifax and know they will come and give it a real go."

The Yellows have received a major boost going into the game with the news that James Constable and Matt Green have served their suspensions and are now available for selection.

Altrincham boss Graham Heathcote has a number of selection concerns heading into the tie with Chris Senior, Tom Kearney and James Smith set to miss out through suspension, while Chris Denham (knee) and Dale Johnson (cruciate ligament) will also miss the clash.
