Moss Lane
Forest Green Rovers scored a late equaliser to secure a point from their fixture against Altrincham at Moss Lane on Saturday afternoon.
The Robins raced into a two-goal lead inside the first 21 minutes thanks to goals from Rob Williams and Chris Senior.
Williams headed home in the 13th minute while Senior superbly guided Colin Little's cross into the back of the net after 21 minutes.
However, their two-goal advantage did not last for very long as the visiting side rallied.
Rovers' Jonathan Smith latched on to a cross from Sean Rigg in the 30th minute and made no mistake from close range.
After the interval, the home side seemed content to sit back and defend the lead which they held.
However, they were made to pay for not adding to their lead when Rigg equalised with four minutes left on the clock.
Rigg broke clear of the home defence and hit a curling effort which left Stuart Coburn with no chance in the Alty goal.
The draw moves Altrincham up to 11th place, while Forest Green also move up a place into 21st.
