Histon v Altrincham

Saturday's Blue Square Premier league clash between Histon and Altrincham is a six-pointer with the two sides seperated by just one point in mid-table.

Altrincham are in 11th spot with 31 points and Histon are one place below them with one point less.

Both sides have injury concerns with Stutes boss Steve Fallon welcoming the return of Kieran Leabon from his loan spells at Harrogate and Bury Town after Danny Wright failed to recover from injury by the time Leabon's loan deal expired.

Fallon told Cambridge News: "Kieran has finished his loan spell at Harrogate and did very well.

"He went on loan with the understanding that it would be to get him ready to come back into the first team. From the reports we've had we feel he's now ready.

"We knew what he was capable of but his confidence got knocked quite a bit in the first month. He's got his confidence and love for the game back and he's desperate to do well at Histon.

Gareth Gwillim is sidelined with a knee injury with Nathaniel Knight-Percival set to take up the left-back role. Adam Tann sustained a nasty gash to his leg and faces a race to be fit for the clash. Neil Andrews will come in if Tann does not recover in time. Lee Smith has the nod after impressing against Grays.

Tann said: "I'll be doing everything I can to make myself fit, but I'm old enough and wise enough to know I've got to be careful and must make the right decision at the end of the week. At the moment it's too early to say, but I think I'll be touch and go for Saturday."
