Tommy Wright
A last-gasp goal by Tommy Wright completed a remarkable comeback for Darlington in a 2-2 draw with Altrincham at Moss Lane on Tuesday night.
After a goalless first-half, Chris Denham struck for the Robins with a clinical strike from the edge of the area in the 51st minute.
Dale Johnson doubled the lead 27 minutes later when he prodded home Ryan Brown's free-kick into the box.
However, the hosts' seemingly fine day soon dampened as Stuart Coburn turned a cross into his own net with eight minutes remaining.
Wright then compounded Coburn's misery when he rose highest to head in Josh Gray's cross to steal a share of the spoils.
The result leaves Graham Heathcoate's men in 17th place, while Darlington are riding comparatively high in sixth place on the Blue Square Bet Premier standings.
Altrincham booked: Lawton, Densmore.
Darlington booked: Hone, Hatch, Arnison.
Att: 1,099.
