Basement battlers Northwich Victoria came from behind to secure a vital point and deal a severe blow to Histon's play-off hopes.

There were just five shots on target in total by both teams in what was a pretty dour encounter.

After a goalless first-half Antonio Murray netted the hosts ahead in the 68th minute.

It seemed enough to earn the Stutes all three points as neither side penetrated attacking wise - but Joel Byrom's late heroics cancelled out the strike.

Byrom struck in the 88th minute to aid the Vics' campaign for safety and dent Histon's chances of gaining a play-off place.
