James Constable
Relegated Northwich continued their fine form by securing their sixth consecutive win and ending Oxford United's Blue Square Premier play-off dream.
Jamie Mullan opened the scoring at the end of the first half, before James Constable pulled the goal back for the U's late on. It was Matt Crowell who closed the curtain on the Vics' stay in the league - in fine style - with a shot from the edge of the area.
Mullan broke the deadlock in first-half injury time with a fine effort from outside the box.
The Vics led for much of the game before Constable netted his 26th goal of the season from close range late on.
But after that goal, the game was marred by United supporters who stormed the pitch and one such fan hit Vics defender Danny Meadowcroft with a corner flag.
After the lengthy hold-up due to the melee, Matt Crowell netted in injury time to allow the Vics to bid farewell to the league with a win as they prepare for life in Blue Square North.
Oxford Utd bookings: Clist, Batt, Foster, Chapman.
