Droylsden 1-1 Stafford

Blue Square Premier strugglers Droylsden and Stafford Rangers will have to be content with a share of the spoils as neither of the two could produce the incisive finish.

The visitors opened their account just before the break when Djoumin Sangare headed in a David Oldfield cross at the centre of the penalty area.

Droylsden rallied in the second half and pulled level in the 58th minute thanks to a Chris Denham shot from 18 yards out.

The Bloods almost nicked the win with a wonder goal in injury time but Jamie McGuire's long-range effort was saved in style by Scott Loach.

Droylsden bookings: McGuire 70, Warner 78
