Steve Morison
A first-half brace from Steve Morison was enough to secure the three-points for an impressive Stevenage side against Stafford on Saturday afternoon.
Morison opened the scoring in the ninth minute for the visitors when he latched onto a Daryl McMahon to tap home from close range.
It was 2-0 in the 40th minute when Morison found the net with a well-placed header from 12-yards out.
Jemiah Richards gave the home supporters something to shout about when he pulled one back in the 50th minute, but it wasn't enough as the visitors continued to dominate the game until the final whistle.
