Wilder: Won't be happy
Chris Wilders Halifax Town failed to make their home advantage count on Saturday afternoon as they were held to a goalless draw by Stafford Rangers.
Stafford rarely threatened to cause an upset and the draw was really down to a lack of cutting edge in attack.
The Shaymen created eight shots on target whereas their opponents could only create two efforts on target.
Halifax had a glorious opportunity to clinch all three points late on but Craig Nelthorpe saw his drilled header miss the target from 12 yards out.
Halifax bookings: None.
Stafford bookings: Draper 62, Flynn 90.
Ref: D Webb.
Att: 1103.
