An early goal for visitors Oxford United was enough to see off the challenge of Stafford Rangers at Marston Road on Saturday afternoon.
Matthew Green was the man who got that goal in the tenth minute when he latched onto a Eddie Anaclet pass to slot home from close range.
Despite the early goal, the home side seemed eager to attack the opposition, and had it not been for some poor end product they would have done just that.
The result does no favours for the home side as they remain rooted in the relegation zone, while the U's remain firmly in mid-table, with hopes of a play-off berth long gone.
