Torquay United maintained their promotion push with what turned out to be a comfortable win against Stafford Rangers at Marston Road.
The first half ended goalless but Stafford's Kevin Street had more than enough chances to put his side ahead.
He was made to pay for his lack of cutting edge as Torquay's Tim Sills headed the visitors ahead just two minutes after the restart.
The Gulls made sure of the result just minutes before the final whistle when Tim Sills' 12-yard effort was blocked by Danny Alcock and Roscoe D'Sane pounced on the rebound and placed his volleyed shot in the roof of the net.
Stafford bookings: Sangare 41, Mawene 87.
Torquay bookings: Banim 53.
Ref: M Naylor.
Att: 905.
