Ronnie Bull

Droylsden 1-2 Crawley Town

Droylsden failed to hold onto their lead as Crawley Town came from behind to snatch the three-points at Butchers Arms on Saturday afternoon.

Ronnie Bull handed the Bloods the lead in the 38th minute when he headed the ball into the back of his own net from a Gareth Morris free-kick after Paul Watson had fouled Ashley Burberry on the edge of the area.

Jamie Cook equalised in the second-half when he tapped the ball home from close range after Mustapha Carayol had sent his corner into a dangerous area.

Cook completed the comeback with five-minutes left on the clock when he slotted home from the penalty spot after Burberry had fouled Carayol in the area.

The home side rallied towards the end, but the Red Devils' defence stood firm as they held on to take a vital three-points away with them.
