Steve Morison
Stevenage Borough confirmed their ambitions of promotion by thrashing Droylsden at Broadhall Way on Saturday afternoon.
Mark Arber opened the scoring for the home side when he headed a Craig Dobson corner into the back of the net after some fine attacking play by the dangerous Steve Morison.
Calum Willock handed the home outfit a 2-0 half-time lead when he got on the end of another perfectly placed Dobson corner.
The second-half started just as the first ended with Boro dominating.
It was 3-0 in the 52nd minute when Daryl McMahon found the net, but the game would lose some of his value soon after.
Steve Halford marred the clash when he was sent from the field for a deliberate handball on the line.
Morison stepped up to score the resulting penalty, and when Morison scored his second of the game towards the end, the Bloods had officially been beaten, and badly at that.
