Exeter City left it late to deny Droylsden their first away victory of the season on Thursday night.
The Grecians, who are still in the hunt for a play-off place, should have taken the lead early on when Wayne Carlisle, Adam Stansfield and Dean Moxey had opportunities, but Bloods goalkeeper Paul Phillips was on form to deny them.
It was the visitors, however, who took the lead against the run of play.
Robbie Talbot was the man credited with the goal when he found the net from close range.
The home side should have hit back almost immediately, but Richard Logan spurned two glorious chances to do so.
But the home side had the last laugh in the match when Logan converted from the penalty spot after Steve Halford had brought down Watson in the penalty area.
