Barrow v AFC Wimbledon

Barrow AFC will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to three games when 10th-placed AFC Wimbledon make the trip to Holker Street on Saturday afternoon.

The Bluebirds are hoping to secure the services of Carlisle United striker Andy Cook ahead of Saaturday's clash.

The 19-year-old frontman enjoyed a successful spell with the Bluebirds recently and is poised to rejoin the Blue Square Premier outfit on a two-month loan deal.

Winger Craig Nelthorpe is available to make his Barrow debut after joining the club from league rivals York City on an emergency loan earlier this week.

Defender Phil Bolland has returned to fitness following a knee injury, while striker Jon Shaw faces a late fitness test on his calf injury.

Dons boss Terry Brown will be looking for a positive response from his players after Monday's night's disappointing defeat to Millwall.

Brown told his club's official website: "After the exertions and disappointment following Monday night's cup-tie at Millwall the players have participated in one full training session. With a game on Monday and travelling on Friday it has not been possible to fit in any other sessions.

"Unfortunately, we picked up several injuries during Monday night's game at Millwall and we will be without James Pullen and Danny Kedwell, who both suffered ankle ligament injuries.

"They have both had x-rays and we are hopeful that they should be fit and available for selection next Saturday, when we play York City. Also on the missing list is Luis Cumbers, who has a bronchial complaint.

"Saturday's game will undoubtedly be one of the toughest away trips of the year. It is a game where we need to secure some points, and get our league form back on track."
