Barrow 2-2 Grays Athletic

Barrow AFC twice came from behind to earn a share of the spoils with strugglers Grays Athletic at rain-soaked Holker Street on Tuesday evening.

The Blues drew first blood in the 15th minute when Petar Rnkovic latched onto a Harry Agumbar pass before firing into the bottom-right corner from the edge of the area.

The hosts were quick to respond, restoring parity four minutes later as Jason Walker rose well to head home Paul Rutherford's cross from deep inside the penalty area.

Grays reclaimed the lead in the 71st minute when Ryan James found the top-left corner with an effort from 20 yards out.

Barrow rose to the challenge once again and drew level six minutes later as Craig Nelthorpe fired a curling free-kick into the top-left corner from 25 yards.

Barrow bookings: Nelthorpe.

Grays bookings: James.

Ref: P Wright (Southport).

Att: 863.
