Worcester City chairman Dave Boddy has reassured manager Richard Dryden that the club's wage bill will not be reduced.
The Loyals suffered a narrow defeat at the hands of Tamworth at St George's Lane in their FA Cup Second Qualifying Round tie, and victory would have seen them pick up a much-needed £4,500
Chairman Dave Boddy has now moved to ease fears that the cup exit will have a negative impact on the club's finances.
He told Worcester News: "We don't budget for success in the cups - anything we can derive from the FA Cup is a bonus.
"It's disappointing. It was a very difficult draw, as it was last year. I thought there was nothing in the game on Saturday and we were worth a draw."
