Histon 1-1 Kidderminster

Play-off rivals Histon and Kidderminster both picked up a valuable point when they played out to a 1-1 draw at Bridge Road on Saturday afternoon.

The home side found themselves in front after just four minutes when Gareth Gwillim's corner was headed in by Jack Midson to make it 1-0.

Keith Lowe almost levelled things up in the 23rd minute but Stutes stopper Joe Welch pulled off a fine save.

However, Lowe did manage to find an equaliser just five minutes later when he fired the ball into the back of the net after latching onto a pass from Darryl Knights.

Both sides had chances to snatch the three points, but they were unable to convert their opportunies and a draw was probably a fair result.

Kidderminster bookings: Creighton.
