Histon v Grays

Histon have three points on the board as they prepare for their second game of the new Blue Square Premier season against Grays Athletic, who have yet to kick a ball.

The Stutes defeated Gateshead 3-0 on Saturday while the Gravelmen's fixture against Chester City was postponed with the Blues in crisis after being docked 25 points and the Football Association still determining their future.

Both sides have a host of new faces with Grays signing no less than nine players including Lee McEvilly, Adriano Rigoglioso, Fred Murray, Paul Terry and Dean Morgan with Histon snapping up seven new signings.

Leyton Orient midfielder Paul Terry and striker Dean Morgan, who signed from Luton Town but was last in action for Leyton Orient on loan, have joined Grays and could make an appearance on Tuesday night.

Histon midfielder John Kennedy is a doubt after picking up an injury against Gateshead and will undergo a late fitness test while strikers Kieran Leabon and Craig Hammond have regained their fitness and will start from the bench.
