Spitty Park

Newport County v Histon

Newport County have been boosted by the return of Kerry Morgan ahead of their home clash with Histon on Saturday.

The Swansea winger has returned to the club where he played 29 times last season and goes straight into Dean Holdsworth's squad to face the Stutes.

Histon travel to Spitty Park without a manager after John Beck left the club following a disagreement over finances.

Stutes chairman told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "It was a difference of opinion.

"We couldn't give him what he needed to do the job. Because of the financial restrictions we're under he found it very, very difficult.

"In the end John felt that he had got as far as he could and in the interests of both parties we decided to go our own ways."

Histon are also without skipper Antonio Murray, who is still recovering from a groin problem. Defender Oluwafemi Ilesanmi is also serving a suspension.

However, the return of Lee Wooton offers some reprieve following his one-match ban. Loanee Danny Mills is expected to start once again.
