Histon v Kettering Town

Histon will look to get back to winning ways when they entertain Kettering Town at Bridge Road on Saturday afternoon.

The Stutes have failed to convert a number of opportunities in their first four fixtures, however, boss David Livermore has backed Danny Mills to solve the problem.

"I think we can use Danny Mills a bit more and get the ball out to him quicker," Livermore told Cambridge News.

"He can probably work on his delivery, but he's a threat and can go past people.

"When he gets going he's fantastic. We've just got to try to get him on the ball in the right areas. We want him running at people in the final third."

Histon will be without the services of Antonio Murray (groin), Daniel Sprakes (jaw) and Ben Clarke (knee).

Livermore will also be sweating on the fitness of midfielder Zac Attwood (ankle).

Kettering are desperate to pick up their first win of the season, but boss Lee Harper is aware of the size of the task facing his side.

"We are pretty desperate to get that first win and it would probably lift a bit of pressure off us," he told the Evening Telegraph.

"But the lads showed in the second half on Tuesday that there is tremendous togetherness and belief within the squad.

"However, we have two tough games over the weekend and Histon certainly won't lie down for anybody."

Striker Moses Ashikodi is an injury doubt and will undergo a late fitness test before the game, however, Iyseden Christie and defender Sol Davis will miss the game through suspension.
