Lee Boylan
Jimmy Quinn's Cambridge United solidified their promotion play-off credentials with a hard-fought win over Oxford United at Kassam Stadium.
The visitors broke the deadlock after 16 minutes when Lee Boylan met a Robert Wolleaston cross at the centre of the penalty area and placed his header in the top-left corner.
Oxford had an instant reply with Matthew Green finding the bottom-right of goal with a drilled shot from the centre of the penalty area.
However, it was Boylan who had the last say with a 12-yard finish.
The forward collected an inviting pass from Lee McEvilly and guided his left-footed shot into the bottom-left of goal to help his side earn a valuable win.
Oxford bookings: Day 65.
Cambridge bookings: McEvilly 58, Pitt 78, Boylan 84.
