Mark Greaves
York City manager Colin Walker has made his first signing of the summer with the capture of experienced former Burton Albion centre-back Mark Greaves.
Greaves was signed within hours of his release from the Pirelli Stadium, where he made 38 appearances and scored five goals last season.
The Hull-born defender can also feature in midfield and has more than 350 career appearances to his credit.
The 33-year old started out at Brigg Town before lengthy spells at Hull City (1996-2002) and Boston United (2002-07) followed.
Walker is currently in talks with more players and hopes to confirm further signings shortly.
