Garry Hill
Rushden & Diamonds have strengthened their defensive options for the season ahead with the capture of trialists Sagi Burton and Gareth Jelleyman.
The experienced duo joined Garry Hill's setup for a pre-season training camp in Portugal and went on to impress in friendlies against Portimonense SC and Bristol City.
Burton and Jelleyman will pen respective one-year deals subject to the completion of a medical on Monday.
31-year-old Burton was a free agent following his release by Paulo Fairclough's Barnet at the end of last season and can count Shrewsbury Town, Peterborough United, Port Vale and Crystal Palace amongst his former clubs.
27-year-old Jelleyman left Mansfield Town at the end of last season after his contract ran out, and previously spent six seasons at Peterborough United.
Meanwhile, Hill has decided to part ways with midfielder Lawrence Lambley and defender Ben Nunn ahead of the imminent arrival of Burton and Jelleyman.
