Rushden and Diamonds will be looking to pick up their first win of the season when they entertain unbeaten AFC Wimbledon at Nene Park on Tuesday evening.
The Diamonds have picked up just one point from their first three outings and following successive defeats to Bath City and Barrow they will be desperate to get something out of the tie.
However, boss Justin Edinburgh will be without the services of defender Jamie Stuart (suspended) and hitman Craig Farrell (groin).
Meanwhile, Wombles boss Terry Brown is looking for his side to continue in their rich vein of form.
Brown's charges have had a perfect start to the season winning their first three games and after a 3-0 victory over Tamworth they will be confident of victory over a struggling Diamonds outfit.
Brown is set to name an unchanged team as his side with no new injury concerns.
Lee Minshull will serve the third of his three game ban.
