Salisbury City kept their play-off dreams alive with a well-earned 2-1 victory over Kidderminster Harriers at the Aggborough Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
In what was frantic opening half-hour, the home side opened the scoring somewhat against the run of play on 11 minutes.
Russell Penn, after some impressive solo play, drilled a left-footed strike into the back of the net from inside the penalty area to hand his side the lead.
The lead did not last for very long, however, as the visitors hit back 13 minutes later.
Liam Feeney was the man credited with the goal when he broke free of the home defence to slot home from close range.
It was 2-1 four minutes later when Robbie Matthews latched on to a Liam Feeney cross to find the net from 12 yards out.
The second-half was an entirely different affair to that of the first as both sides seemed eager to just knock the ball around in midfield as opposed to attacking the oppositions penalty area, something which suited the visitors as the claimed what is a valuable three-points.
