Aldershot 2-1 Salisbury

Blue Square Premier leaders Aldershot got off to the best possible start when Rob Elvins was on target and scored in the third minute.

The Shots held onto their 1-0 lead going into half-time.

Salisbury, however applied pressure and a throw-in taken by Matthew Robinson was rewarded when Whites team-mate Liam Feeney got hold of the ball and equalised in the 61st minute at the Recreation Ground.

Both sides were pressing forward but both were unable to gain control of the match until Daniel Hylton headed the winner in the 82nd minute, much to the delight of the home supporters.

Aldershot bookings: None.

Salisbury bookings: Cook, Clarke, Tubbs.
