Mark Beesley
Cambridge United all but confirmed their place in the play-offs with a comfortable 2-0 win over Salisbury at Raymond McEnhill Stadium.
The game got off to a heated start as Michael Fowler received a straight red card for a professional foul on Stephen Reed after 14 minutes.
Referee D Phillips gave him his marching orders and the hosts never really had a chance of dominating the game with only 10-men.
The visitors applied all the pressure and were duly rewarded when Jack Jeffery netted in the 31st minute.
And it was game, set and match ten minutes later when Mark Beesley headed home for the high-flying visitors.
The result sees United firmly placed in top spot - level on points with third-placed Burton Albion and comfortably in the play-off zone.
