Raymond McEnhill Stadium

Salisbury v Gateshead

Salisbury City will aim to continue their excellent run of form when they meet Gateshead at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium on Saturday.

The Whites would be in the vicinity of a play-off spot had they not had a ten-point deduction but nonetheless the club finds itself in a healthy 17th place in the standings.

Tommy Widdrington has a fully-fit squad at his disposal and is further boosted by the return of Lee Brown who is available again after serving a suspension.

However, Widdrington knows that the Tynesiders will offer a stern test.

"Ian Bogie has a good passing football team at Gateshead and I don't expect an easy ride, but we've done well at home this season and I'm looking for another positive result," he told The Chronicle.

Gateshead have a number of problems ahead of the trip to Wiltshire.

Chris Swailes is suspended while fellow defenders Darren Williams and Carl Jones are sidelined with back and hamstring injuries respectively.

Bogie is also without the services of Steven Richardson (ankle) and Alex Francis who has been granted compassionate leave.

Michael Mackay is available after missing the last match while Jamie Harwood is also expected to feature after his loan with Harrogate Town ended.

"Jamie's back from Harrogate Town, I've spoke to their manager and his loan's gone well," Bogie said.

A new looking ground that has been further developed since it was first opened in 1997. The first thing that strikes you about the stadium is that it is sunken, meaning that you enter at the back of the stands and descend into it.
