Salisbury v Ebbsfleet

A win for second-from-bottom Ebbsfleet against Salisbury in the Blue Square Premier on Friday will see them move level on points with Gateshead, just above the drop zone.

The Fleet have won just once in six matches with that victory coming against the Tynesiders with their last result a 6-1 thumping at the hands of Luton Town.

The Whites, meanwhile, were also on the end of a hammering by Luton in their last encounter, losing 4-0 and they too have just won one of their last six.

And just three points clear of the relegation places in 17th with 40 points from their 37 matches, it will be a match that boss Tommy Widdrington would have earmarked for a win.

He still has a number of injury concerns, but welcomes the return of goalkeeper James Bittner after he served a two-match suspension.

But Rob Sinclair, Ronnie Bull and Jamie Turley are all sidelined with hamstring injuries while Bradley Gray is out with a calf strain.

Ebbsfleet, meanwhile have defender David Pooley back in the side after he recovered from an ankle injury the only absentee for Liam Daish's side being Clint Easton, who is out with a fractured eye socket.

A new looking ground that has been further developed since it was first opened in 1997. The first thing that strikes you about the stadium is that it is sunken, meaning that you enter at the back of the stands and descend into it.
