Salisbury boss Tommy Widdrington
Salisbury secured their Blue Square Premier status with a decisive 3-1 victory over fellow strugglers Hayes and Yeading at Raymond McEnhill Stadium on Tuesday night.
Matt Tubbs, Jake Reid and Chris Shephard scored for the victorious hosts, while Dale Binns netted an injury-time consolation goal for the relegation-threatened visitors.
Following a goalless opening half, Tubbs drew first blood from close-range after pouncing on Jake Reid's knock-down in the 67th minute.
Reid then doubled the lead 11 minutes later after being set up by Chris Flood.
Shephard fired in the third from the edge of the box three minutes from time before Binns scored United's only goal of the night from close-range.
The result, crucially leaves Salisbury with 49 points in 14th place on the table, while United are just behind on 47 points.

A new looking ground that has been further developed since it was first opened in 1997. The first thing that strikes you about the stadium is that it is sunken, meaning that you enter at the back of the stands and descend into it. | ||
