Fleetwood fans we were hoping to pull a game in before we meet Sat but due to bad weather and Alfreton's Trophy commitments it's not possible. Hope the game with you goes ahead as we are finding a bit of form and the team is looking quite a bit different to when we last met. should be a good game !
View all YELLOWSTAGSFAN's postsWow you really do have a bee in your bonnet don't you Belizehatter! Frustration is obviously getting to you! On a lighter note, Saturdays game was by far one of the coldest ones I've ever sat through! I found myself clapping at anything just to try and get the feeling back in my hands!
View all BigDave's postsFl££twood fans, why are Wrexham fans only being given 975 tickets for our match on 10 Apr; your ground can take 1500+ away fans!!? Is Piley running scared?
View all wxmred's poststrannie I'm hoping that York bring more than 500....but it could be affected by the weather. hopefully it'll get warmer through the week! our rearranged game v Ebbsfleet may get the go ahead as the pitch is under a blanket of snow so hopefully keeping the frost off it tonight. we're very keen to get it played as Jason Walker's expected to play 45 minutes at least in preperation for the trip to Grimsby!
View all rogue84's postsharrythehatter- Thank you for the great tip about Oxfam and the shirts. I am off down there now to see i they will do the same with my underwear.
View all seasiderhatter's postsFrustrating weekend for the Cod Army! Scoreline should of been very different but Tamworth found are weakness - we cannot score from corners! Very well done to the Tamworth lads though, put up a wall from 2-2 onwards which we couldn't break through. I don't think I need to comment on the Belizehatter remarks, Codaplenty and Thecodarmy said it all.
View all BigDave's postsGot a couple of gardening DIY tips for you today guys. Tip no 23. Do not creosote the fence whilst wearing your best designer whistle & no 24. View all theecodarmy's postsharrythe hatter, fine tip my friend. here is some good advice considering the current weather : never eat yellow snow :
View all aquahatter's poststhecodarmy, we should pity belizehatter as he is clearly an embittered and twisted fan, unrepresentative of the vast majority of Luton fans who come on this site. The bigger the insults that come our way the bigger the compliment, it is a fact of life that success in this country whether in sport/business or whatever sphere brings out resentment, envy, and jealousy in people. Of course if it was the other way round...........
View all codaplenty 's postsCouldnt make it to the game but sounded like a well fought draw, credit to Fleetwood groundsmen for keeping the game on, no shock they were all over us but sounded like we defended well, happy for Hedge getting a chance in goal, doing the job very well. Looking forward to what will be another exciting game against Kiddy on saturday! I think Wrexham owe us a pint!
View all tamworthlad's postsOh and sour grapes. No. If you didn't have all your money and signings and were back in the EVo Stik Northern we'd still be in almost exactly the same boat as now. Wrexham would also be 10 points ahead of us and gone but done the correct way on a budget properly managed with a solid base, not your unsustainable one if Piley walks away.
View all belizehatter's postsIf any of you cods think you are where you are for any other reason than your Chairmans money you are very sadly deluded. Very. Same with Crawley last year. Spending well over their means and buying a place in the Football League. You this term buying your closest opposition players to weaken them and take advantage iof their financial situation, Crawley looked to do the same with us and Keane but we didn't have to do it to survive. Enough. Football should be won on the pitch with good managers squads and fans, not because a Chairman is suoper rich and has a folly. I am most frustrated with Luton as we should be able to cope with the likes of these teams and not be out of sight 10+ points behind.
View all Belizehatter's postscodaplenty....If its not too late dont take belizehatter's comments, born out of frustration in our own teams inadequacies,as opinions shared by all luton fans.I personally, have great admiration for your team and for yourself as a true supporter.Your team has built on a successful time last season and gone into this one with the same panache. We all taunted the creepys last season, mostly comments born out of hidden jealousy for similar accusations of buying their way to promotion.I'm sure we would all change places with them now regardless.Without disrespecting you or your team, you may not be fashionable or meant for immediate glorys and could end up bankrupt and back where you started, but what the heck? Go and get promotion and please god take us up with you as play-off winners. keep the faith bring me sunshine harry haslams barmy army
View all oakroader's postsWow my last post had more spelling mistakes in it than mansfieldmad, the shame!!! Guess I must have rushed it eh! N I agree that those comments about fleetwood are unfair, we would all love to have the same financial backing, at least fleetwood don't have a manager like the fat idiot at crawley, good luck to em I say, just hope we can go up with them at the end of the season, up the mariners!!
View all grimsbyforever's poststamworthlad, fine back to the wall defensive job by your team yesterday,Fleetwood's own fault, combination of poor defending, the goalkeeping howler of the season, missed penalty, you made everybody happy in the chasing pack, codarmy apart ! The odds of 7-1 for a Tamworth win were not that far off eh
View all codaplenty's postsHey Aqua, Seaside, here is a tip to save a fortune on laundry bills. Give your dirty shirts to Oxfam. They will wash and iron them and you can buy them back for fifty pence.
View all harrythehatter's postsbelizehatter, really sour grapes from you and I expect better from a Luton fan,or perhaps not. Fleetwood Football Club INVESTED in an anti freeze cover some 3 years ago to prevent games being called off and it has not only paid off but allowed the club to play matches when so many other clubs around the country have had to call off. Thats whats called good mangement, something which your club is lacking in and which your fans are constantly moaning and whinging about like little children. I have had a soft spot for your team because of the continual Luton bashing, well the gloves are now off. Keep Brabin, I hope he continues to keep your masssively under achieving team in the BS Premier where they belong, unlike other respected former league clubs like Grimsby/Mansfield/York who are playing good footnall and deserve to be in a higher league for their fans.
View all codaplenty's postsTrannie the gate should be much more than that as I hear york have already sold over 1000 tickets, I've a bad feeling though that bath away will be off again though so that will wreck the york game n we will have to play it on a feeezing cold tuesday night, hop not though, up the mariners!!
View all grimsbyforever's postsbelizehatter how are we punching above are weight.we are an up and coming club.we may not have the history some teams have, but we are making history now.i find your comment is unfair and unjustifed.we are were we are because we win games.also i feel luton do there fair share of taken other teams best players,to try and stregthen there squad what team wouldnt.as for the game yesterday the red card was the players own fault 2 rash challanges equals a red in football law.i would also say that the attandance yesterday was a good 1 for us with the weather 1900,not bad to say we our punching above r weight
View all theecodarmy's postsI hope Bath is on on tuesday because if not I believe it will carry forward to next Saturday which will ruin a match with York which I have been looking forward to and also a potenially large crowd 5k plus even if york hopefully bring about 500. Getting a bit worried to that I might get a nose bleed soon with town being so well placed but as you all will say many a touchline to cross before April. UTM SWWF
View all trannie's posts.............even more annoyed that we can't compete. Not even close. Sort it out 2020. How many more seasons can we stay here before we become an entrenched non league club and the fans drop back to the level of our counterparts. tick tock.
View all belizehatter's postswow. Fleetwood. On top of big money from from a sugar daddy allowing plenty of signings whenever needed to dIsable opponents as much as strengthen, they are now also getting the rub of the green with games played when others aren't avoiding fixture backlog and hitting last minute winners and comebacks galore with helping hand of a red card. Looking like it is supposed to be. Really hope Wrexham can pull off the title. Find it annoying and very unfair a team can punch so far above their weight just because of one mans folly.
