codaplenty...the only way elton would donate a couple of million is via a sperm bank. keep the faith bring me sunshine harry haslams barmy army
codaplenty..At last a voice of reassurance!thanks buddy.I will look at wrexham as the specialist "pace-setter" as used in athletic meetings.By your reckoning they should drop out at the last lap, leaving luton and fleetwood to lead the last gasp dash to the finishing line!! keep the faith bring me sunshine harry haslams barmy army
lutonphil....With respect,I hear what you say,but here's the problem with the"six pointer" theory....i think its only US luton fans who consider games involving us in such a way.Everyone else is looking at us as easy prey at the moment. The league has got so many evenly matched teams this season, but our own impression of our teams ability is a bit over exagerated. No one seems to be over-awed at playing us at the moment.People are confident that they can take points off us-ME INCLUDED!! I'm sure the wrexham fans expected at least a point off us,if not all three as eventually happened.Lets wait until the last handfull of games at the end of the season before we use such phrases. We don't want to depress ourselves even more before we have to!!?? keep the faith bring me sunshine harry haslams barmy army
grimsby fans---i apologise.my message was meant for lincoln fans.just having a senior moment-going doolally.its the pressure, you know!!to all LINCOLN fans the plee still applies.i thank you.
Grimsby fans if you please, secure a result-help me off my knees. You dont want to see a grown man cry,so in front of goal don't be shy.A positive end result in your favour, would be wonderfull for us luton fans to savour!Send neillybabe home with a defeat, and i would willingly bow and kiss your feet!! keep the faith bring me sunshine harry haslams barmy army
This friday night,i hope and i wish,we're gonna "batter" the men of fish. Its time right now to step up to the plate, cause things will only get worse at this rate!We need to start playing as we know we can,and not end up an also-ran.If things dont improve,in my heart i fear,we will still be here at the same time next year!! keep the faith bring me sunshine harry haslams barmy army
wrexham fans...congratulations.Thekiddykid...wow,what a game,as david coleman would have said-"remarkable!". Codaplenty...fantastic result keeping the momentum going.Yorkies...a very big thank you, from the heart of my bottom, for not letting cambridge climb above us.For a while there i was expecting the worse!!Can you imagine the embarrasment of being below cambridge united??!!At least i can sleep a bit easier now.Neilybabe...close,but not close enough mon ami(phew!!) keep the faith bring me sunshine harry haslams barmy army
The reds are coming, the team from wales, gonna be a cracker helping ticket sales.Wrexham are flying, thanks to their fans, but tonight,i hope, luton will scupper their plans.A game full of goals i'm willing to bet, most i pray, into the taffys net.Can luton's form take them to the next level?, or will we succumb to the welsh devil?By the end of the game all my hopes, will be that we are still above the two cambridge dopes!! keep the faith bring me sunshine harry haslams barmy army
moggyhatter...good shout.with the demise of the vauxhall plant and other business sites,a lot of luton families moved out of the area for better opportunities elsewhere.there are probably just as many luton fans dispersed around the country as there are that go to matches.as ive previously stated i park my caravan in the hell-hole that is milton keynes, having moved out of luton some 20 odd years ago.i bet you could open a luton supporters club from people in the mk postcode area.lots of pikey type people here,if you know what i mean.i can remember in the days down the oak rd. chants from fans including barton, hitchin, dunstable, bedford,to name but a few.i heard a lot of fans stopped using rail travel due to aggro they would walk into at luton train station, during the worst times of the 70's and 80's.but,my friend,no matter where we are or where we go,there is always luton in our hearts. ps. anyone else spot the luton town shirt worn by a cast member in the new advert by vauxhall ref the england team sponsorship? keep the faith bring me sunshine harry haslams barmy army
most teams need an experienced, mature player, who can organize and rally the troops when under duress. we actually had a COACH playing in the team at a time of great need!!?? how the heck did we still lose two points to a last minute goal when an organized and professional outfit should not have been in that situation in the first place!!?? coach?-youre avin a laff!! keep the faith bring me sunshine harry haslams barmy army
squibbon...one MORE brain cell and you would be a cabbage.I have it on good authority that luton were RESTRICTED to 40000 tickets. It happens that over 50000 were applied for,but for security reasons we were not allowed to share scunthorpe's end with their 15000 followers. My definition of the word "core" is the amount that have been in one place,at the same time watching luton play, and would do the same again and again given the right circumstances.I agree, however, that a "hard core" of 6000 to 7000 regularly turn out to see bsbp football-not bad for a non-hotbed of football. keep the faith bring me sunshine harry haslams barmy army
foggy...your homework and diligence should be applauded.i wasn't being dismisive of your facts.i am sure neilybabe and squibbon, for example, would argue that cambridge's population is inflated with students etc. from around the world, never mind this country, who support other teams or sports.my argument is that towns like mansfield or fleetwood would still have a larger amount of homegrown support as a percentage still living locally, regardless of other nearby club options, due to the lack of an artificially inflated headcount. yours respectfully.... keep the faith bring me sunshine harry haslams barmy army
foggy...i cant speak for any other teams but your figs giving the population of some teams is flawed.Luton,in particular,is not full of LUTONIANS.We have londoners, ethnic communities and others who would not go anywhere near a football ground unless as away supporters. We do have a PROVEN core support of about 40,000,as seen at wembley in the past. This is a true relection,in my opinion. keep the faith bring me sunshine harry haslams barmy army
There is a team called luton town, always guaranteed to turn a smile into a frown! If there's one thing for sure, then supporting luton is never a bore! Just when you think your onto a win, then up pops the opposition to silence the din!"We are going up"shout the luton masses, but most profess they are talking out of their asses!! As previously mentioned they continue to be,their very own worst enemy! To all the luton fans on this site, lets not underestimate our plight. But the season's decided after 46 games, during which i'm sure,we will get called all sort of names! Our journey on the road to promotion, will be layden with much frustration. There will be lots to overcome,in our endeavour to become number one! And if you believe in fate,"all good things come to those who wait" keep the faith bring me sunshine harry haslams barmy army
madmansfield....hi,this is doctor von stroodleburger here.I am contacting you from the institute for brain injuries.I have seen you have not visited us for a while!!By the look of your posts on this site,i am getting very concerned for your wellbeing! Now be a good little boy and keep taking your medication, and please please get in touch. keep the faith bring me sunshine harry haslams barmy army

vikingimp...you let us down.i thought you'd help the mighty town. But instead of winning you lost two nil, nearly causing my pants to fill!If it wasn't for our late time winner, you nearly made me bring up my dinner! So we will do it on our own,to rightly claim our deserved crown. Here's my wish i am willing to share-to finnish above cambridge is all i care! keep the faith bring me sunshine harry haslams barmy army
